Sequence progress

Today we had edited our film whilst Fahad and Inoshan worked on sounds. Our editing did face a few probelems bit we eventually got over it and worked our way through, tomorrow we will be continuing with it and trying to finish our work to the best of our abilities.

March 14th

Today as a group we decided to film more and do some editing, during this we filmed the classroom sequence and the walking in and out.

Overall, the group worked very efficiently and together - there were no arguments or fights today because we all wanted to get the film completed.

March 12th

Today as a group we decided to film the chase sequence with some of our friends as actors, I felt that it was very good and productive and the actors played their part as expected.

We also decided to film tomorrow after sixth form in order to have footage to edit on 14th March.

Re-shooting

Yesterday we had started to re-shoot our film , we started with the scene where Fahad is writing his letter , we still need to finish this scene after school today but due to Fahad and Inoshan's absence we were un able to finish the scene, instead me and Alaa decided to shoot the POV shot needed for the credits. We are hoping we can finish the filming soon and start the editing on thursday.

Friday 15th February

Today as a group we decided to practise live type and create a new title text for our production company, we have also planned to do the credit sequence with text.

Having Fahad who has experience in the Group with LiveType is really helpful as he has the knowledge of this software.

11th February Editing

After getting our clips on the 8th (Friday) we decided to edit today since our group would be in and it would be ideal to see what is left to film. The clips which we edited were good but we realised that we missed some clips, so we have to go back and refilm some clips.

showcase (Thursday 7th feb)

Today in the lesson as a class we had to show a rough show case of what we had done so far with our opening sequences, then the whole class will gave feedback on what they liked and what they thought needed improvement. We thought having the class feedback on our work was great because there were errors in our sequence that they had seen and we hadn't e.g. in one shot there were people in the class and the next it was empty, we hadn't noticed this until we got told so we need to be careful and concentrate on improving our match on action . After we read the comments the class left we decided to review our own sequence and see if we thought we can make any changes, we saw that we were better off re-filming some parts, for smooth cutaways we also saw that there were some scenes missing that w need to fill in. overall we got some got comments however we have a lot to be doing to improve what we have already and to get the best possible sequence.
